Welcome to the Hydraulic Lake Wilderness Cabins!

The Hydraulic Lake wilderness cabins are located on the West side of Hydraulic Lake, 48 kilometers from Kelowna, B.C..  

There are thee cabins on the site for use by Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, and other youth groups (Girl Guides, etc.)  Your group not listed here?  Contact us and we'll be happy to let you know if your  non-profit youth related group can use the property.

Cabin 1 (the main cabin) is suitable for larger groups up to 18-20 people.  It is insulated and heated with an air tight wood heater and has a wood cook range.  It has a limited supply of dishes and cooking equipment.  This cabin has a large loft with lots of bunks.

Cabin 2 (also called the "Rover's Cabin") is a smaller log cabin and sleeps a maximum of 8 people.  It is heated with an air tight wood heater.  No cooking facilities are located in this cabin.  

Cabin 3 (The "leader" or "adult" cabin) is a medium sized insulated cabin with an air tight wood heater and has a propane cooking range.  It has a limited amount of sleeping space.  This cabin is well equipped with dishes and cooking gear.  this cabin is for special use and use only upon request, evaluation of request and approval by the caretaker and the camp committee.

Summer access is by vehicle, winter access is by foot or snowmobile.  We've had four wheel drive vehicles make it in during the winter with little problems, but again, this is up to the camp committee and caretaker and dependant on the weather and current conditions.

There is a good supply of wood in the wood shed and it is for Cabin use ONLY.

Water supply for all cabins is from the lake and must be boiled, treated or filtered.
